DOWNLOADING YOUR TAX RETURN TRANSCRIPTS FROM IRS.GOV
The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) offers several types of transcripts, at no cost. The one we will require for your case (unless specified otherwise), is the Record of Account Transcript. This record combines tax returns and tax account transcripts into one complete document.
The fastest way to obtain this transcript is online. You can also request it by mail at https://sa.www4.irs.gov/oat/ or by calling 800-908-9946, in which case the primary taxpayer on the return must make the request.
